Scientist Dr Ester Caffarel-Salvador and innovator Conan Bradley have been added to the growing list of Queen's Leaders 18-45, which highlights and celebrates students and graduates who are making an impact and inspiring others.
Speaking about the alumni, Queen’s Vice-Chancellor Professor Sir Ian Greer said: “It has been a pleasure to highlight the achievements of our graduates and students as part of our Queen’s Leaders 18-45 initiative, a key feature of our 180th anniversary celebrations.
“We have welcomed members of the Queen’s global community across business, finance, law, arts, science and medicine who are inspiring others and raising ambitions for the future.
“We are delighted to recognise the talent, skills and achievements of our newest Queen’s Leaders 18-45 and look forward to keeping connected with them throughout their careers.”
Speaking at the event, Dr Ester Caffarel, Director of Strategic Innovation at Chiesi USA said: “It’s incredibly humbling to be recognised among the Queen’s Leaders 18-45. For me, it is a chance to acknowledge the mentors, colleagues, and friends at Queen’s who believed in my early potential.
“My time at Queen’s was the springboard for my move to the US, where exposure to new science and networks continued to shape my work. My desire to tackle challenging problems to create better treatments for patients started right there in ¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓƵ, and it remains the absolute foundation of my work today.”
Conan Bradley, Co-founder and COO of Bioliberty, also commented: “Queen’s has such an impressive community of alumni doing meaningful work around the world, so it’s a real privilege to be recognised as an 18-45 leader.
“Queen’s not only shaped how I think about problem solving but also gave me the relationships that made my career possible."
