Black, Northern Irish and Proud

In May 2023, Queen's Film Theatre in ¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓÆµ hosted a screening of the documentary  as part of Africa Day 2023. The event featured a powerful exploration of the Black experience in Northern Ireland, offering personal insights on identity, diversity, politics, and racism.

The screening was followed by a lively Q&A session with the film's producer and director, Lindsay Dube, alongside other contributors. The event was coordinated by  and Henri Mohamed, Dr Kim-Marie Spence, and Lindsay Dube, and was funded by Queen's University ¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓÆµ's School of History, Anthropology, Philosophy and Politics and the School of Arts, English and Languages.
