CHAMP-UK 100th Participant
NICRF Research Optometrist, Dr Emma McConnell was delighted to welcome the 100th participant on the CHAMP-UK study on Friday 13th August.
Dr. McConnell stated: ¡®This study aims to determine whether atropine eye drops can help slow the progression of myopia (short-sightedness) in children living in the UK. Overall the study hopes to enrol over 250 children across five UK sites and I am thrilled that we have recruited our 100th participant in ¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓƵ. Thank you to all of our wonderful children and parents who are taking part!¡¯
