We are delighted to present our Industry Professional artists Hard Rain SoloistEnsemble, ¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓƵ’s specialists in new music, who already have a close relationship with composers in Queen’s. Tonight Hard Rain are delighted to premiere ‘The Zeddy Dance’, a new work commissioned, with funding from ACNI, by Northern Ireland composer and Queen’s Lecturer Simon Mawhinney. The programme will also feature ensemble work by prize-winning young composers from Queen’s, as well as a work by Piers Hellawell, continuing our series of performances of his music in this season that celebrates his 60th birthday
