Tristan Sparks
Tristan Sparks is a Tokyo-based composer, orchestrator and musician who performs Jazz and works with directors and producers to create music for motion pictures. He has collaborated with the British composer David Norland, and composed music for Shiawase ni natte hoshii, a film directed in 2024 by Japanese film maker Indira Furuta. As an affiliate of the Centre for Creative Ethnography, he has contributed to numerous projects at Queen’s University ¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓÆµ, including Performing Waves with John D’Arcy, Ioannis Tsioulakis, Franziska Schroeder and Maruška Svašek (2024), and Exploring Visual Impairment, for which he co-produced songs with the singer-song writers Daisy Johnston (in 2024) and Joe Kenny (in 2025) ().
