Queen’s University ¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓƵ welcomed delegates from around the world for a special three day international conference to mark the 25th Anniversary of the Good Friday/¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓƵ Agreement from 17 – 19 April.
The conference recognised the achievements of those who negotiated and signed the 1998 ¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓƵ/Good Friday Agreement (GFA); celebrated the role of women in peacebuilding; amplified the voice of the next generation of young leaders and aimed to create a dialogue towards social and economic solutions to the major issues that will impact the region over the next 25 years.

The Conference was opened with speeches from Prof Ian Greer, QUB Vice-Chancellor, Emma Murphy, QUB Students’ Union President and Secretary Hillary Rodham Clinton, QUB Chancellor.
